Description
A naturally refreshing wellness tonic rooted in Brazilian tradition, combining raw apple cider vinegar, citrus juice, and cold water to support metabolism and aid weight loss.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar (with “the mother”)
Juice of ½ a fresh lemon or lime
1 cup cold filtered water (or coconut water)
Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper or grated ginger
Optional: 1 teaspoon raw honey
Instructions
1. Prepare a clean glass or jar.
2. Pour in 1 tablespoon of raw apple cider vinegar.
3. Add the juice of half a fresh lemon or lime.
4. Pour in 1 cup of cold filtered or coconut water.
5. Optionally add cayenne pepper or grated ginger for metabolism support.
6. Optionally sweeten with honey or stevia.
7. Stir the mixture thoroughly and drink immediately, preferably on an empty stomach.
Notes
For best results, drink this tonic first thing in the morning.
Use a straw to protect your tooth enamel from the vinegar’s acidity.
You may prepare up to 3 servings in advance and refrigerate for up to 2–3 days.
Coconut water, ginger, or mint can be used to add flavor and functional benefits.
